Harkness House

Harkness House is located along Tempel Green. A coffee house, the Walk-in Coffee Closet at Ruane's Den, is located on the first floor. Students of all genders and class years live in Harkness; however the fourth floor is one of the single-sex floors available as an alternative housing option.

Jane Addams and Freeman House

Jane Addams and Freeman House

Jane Addams House (most often referred to as "JA") and Freeman House are located at the bottom of Tempel Green, near Freeman Field and across from Cummings Arts Center. The two residence houses are connected and share a kitchen, each with a dining hall.

At lunch, Freeman is the location of the Language Tables, where one can practice their language skills. Students of all genders and class years live in Freeman; however the fourth floor is one of the single-sex floors available as an alternative housing option. The fifth floor is a four-person suite known as "Freeman Tower" that's available to sophomores, juniors and seniors as a common interest or independent living option.

Students of all genders and class years live in JA; however the lower floor is an all male floor which is available as an alternative housing option.

Knowlton House

Knowlton House

Knowlton House is the College's international language residence and is located along Tempel Green. To live in Knowlton, students from all class years apply for the language housing specialty housing option. Knowlton residents must know or be studying a language and are placed in rooms near others who speak that language. Students can also speak the languages they're studying over meals at designated tables in the dining halls.
