The Charles B. Luce Field House, named for the College’s first director of athletics and dedicated by Arthur Ashe in 1984, houses three multi-purpose rubber courts for basketball, volleyball, indoor tennis and general recreational use. There are two wood floor gymnasiums for practice and competition in basketball and volleyball, three international squash courts, two squash/racquetball conversion courts, a climbing wall designed to challenge all levels and a 1,200-square-foot sports medicine treatment facility, including hot and cold cryotherm baths. Adjacent to the athletic offices is the athletics equipment and laundry facility. Twenty of our 28 varsity teams are served by locker rooms in the Luce Field House which also includes visiting team rooms. Just inside the entrance of the facility is the Athletics Hall of Fame Room, honoring those whose accomplishments on and off the field brought distinction to themselves, their teams and the College.
