Connecticut College will mark its 109th academic year with our Convocation ceremony, a joyous and proud College tradition. Interim President Les Wong will call together the College community and officially proclaim the opening of the academic year. Convocation is celebrated on Tempel Green, the very center of our campus, and will include a procession of faculty, class officers and all first-year students as well as rising sophomores. Prof. Niina Martin, the 2023 John S. King Faculty Award for Excellence in Teaching winner, will deliver the keynote address. Following the ceremony, the campus community is invited to the Convocation Dinner in Harris Refectory. Location: Tempel Green. Attendance: Required.
