Attend this workshop to meet with our staff members who oversee Student Employment at Conn. They will go over how to look for jobs on campus, submit an application and get your paperwork approved. Connecticut College will mark its 112th academic year with our New Student Convocation ceremony, a joyous and proud College tradition. President Andrea Chapdelaine will call together the College community and officially proclaim the opening of the academic year. Tanya Schneider, Hans and Ella McCollum '21 Vahlteich Associate Professor of Chemistry and winner of the 2025 Nancy Batson Nisbet Rash Faculty Award for Excellence in Research will deliver the keynote address. Attendance: Required for new students. Please be seated by 4:25pm. Convocation is a formal college event, so the faculty and President Chapdelaine will be wearing academic regalia. There is no dress code for students, but you are welcome to dress up as much as you like.
