- The 64ᵗʰ Niantic Arts & Crafts ShowThe 64ᵗʰ Niantic Arts & Crafts Show This is a community event and is not affiliated with the College. Attendees are responsible for their own transportation. Mark your calendars! The Annual Niantic Arts and Crafts Show will take place on July 5th (10-5 PM) and 6th (10-4 PM) on the East Lyme Town Hall Green. Hosted by the Niantic Lions Club, this juried show features displays from some of New England’s finest artists and crafters. More than just a celebration of creativity, this event is the Niantic Lions Club’s primary fundraiser, supporting a variety of charitable programs and community initiatives. - Celebrate New LondonCelebrate New London As a community-run event, there is no affiliation with the College. Please plan for your own transportation, as it will not be provided. Join us on Saturday, July 12 for a celebration of all things New London, culminating in the largest fireworks display in New England over the Thames River brought to you by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribe. Enjoy live music at two outdoor stages and various venues throughout the Cultural District. Visit our downtown businesses for diverse cuisine or hit some of the food trucks scattered throughout the festival. Shop and experience our Creative Village, a collaboration between The Annex, The Golden Owl and The New London Arts Council. This marketplace on State Street near Parade Plaza will feature the work of area artisans and makers, live painting, and other interactive experiences. Celebrate New London will feature 2 stages for a wide variety of live music on Saturday July 12 starting at 2pm and running through 9pm. One stage will be located at Custom House Pier on the downtown waterfront. The second stage will be at Parade Plaza across from the strain station at the intersection of State and Bank streets. Admission is free of charge. Food trucks will be available at both venues. Alcohol will not be served. No open alcohol is permitted. Studio 33 Art & Frame Gallery presents Fresh Air, a fine art exhibit featuring the pastel landscapes and still life’s of local New London artist’s Debra Codd and Laura Natusch. The exhibit opens Saturday, July 5, 2025 at 10:00 AM with a reception at 4:00 to 6:00 PM. Studio 33 is partnering with the New London Cultural District First Saturday NL Event. The exhibit will close on August 30, 2025 at 3:00 PM.
