Join us for the first lecture in a series, Barbara Zabel on Contemporary Art. Barbara Zabel is well published in the major art journals in her field and has published two books: Assembling Art: the Machine and the American Avant Garde and Calder's Portraits, the latter for a major exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery. This talk is free and open to the public. This lecture series is made possible by the Weissman Family Fund for Visiting Artists and the Department of Studio Art.
