- Nov 3All dayMentorship Monday: Eye to Eye at Groton Middle SchoolEye to Eye is the nation's largest network of student-led, neurodiversity-focused clubs on high school and college campuses. Our mission is to empower students who learn differently by providing them with the tools, training, and support to build inclusive communities and advocate for neurodiversity awareness. At Connecticut College, our mentors visit Groton Middle School once a week to work with middle school students who learn differently. Together, we use art-based projects to explore self-advocacy, confidence, and the strengths that come with neurodiversity.Through Eye to Eye, students gain access to scholarships, leadership opportunities, and national events that foster community, strengthen leadership skills, and encourage peer-to-peer connection all while celebrating and supporting the 1 in 5 who learn differently. **If you're interested in participating and haven't yet received messages from this club, please contact Mimi Katz (mkatz4@conncoll.edu). She'll share the brief training you'll need to complete before your first art room session!Hosted by: Eye to Eye at Connecticut CollegeAdditional Information can be found at: https://connquest.conncoll.edu/event/11799782 (https://connquest.conncoll.edu/event/11799782)
