We will be watching a certain superhero movie/TV show episode(s) and explore the representation within them throughout the film and afterwards there will be a small discussion about what we watched and how we felt about it, in and outside of representation. There will be snacks and an opportunity to sit back, chill, and enjoy the film. Hosted by WOC+C and Race and Ethnicity Programs, this event creates a space for meaningful dialogue, support, and inspiration. The evening begins with a Mocktail Social Hour, where attendees can enjoy elegant mocktails, appetizers, and smooth jazz in a relaxed atmosphere. This is an opportunity to connect with WOC+C members, alumni, faculty, and staff while networking with others who share similar experiences. Following the social hour, the program transitions into a panel discussion featuring distinguished speakers who will share their journeys, challenges, and strategies for thriving in institutional spaces as Women of Color.
