Woman's Center

In this event, we will start by advising residents to keep their eyes closed (only if residents are comfortable) as they paint a portrait of yourself. Residents will be given 20 minutes to complete this task as soothing music plays in the background. After the first task is completed, RAs will then peer residents and instruct them to paint a portrait of the person they are peered with (with eyes open). After this task is completed in the 20 minutes period, we will take a moment to reflect. RAs will then lead an open conversation about how we see ourselves vs. how others may see us, and how our perspectives may shift in different circumstances.
