Eye to Eye is the nation's largest network of student-led, neurodiversity-focused clubs on high school and college campuses. Our mission is to empower students who learn differently by providing them with the tools, training, and support to build inclusive communities and advocate for neurodiversity awareness.At Connecticut College, our mentors visit Groton Middle School once a week to work with middle school students who learn differently. Together, we use art-based projects to explore self-advocacy, confidence, and the strengths that come with neurodiversity.Through Eye to Eye, students gain access to scholarships, leadership opportunities, and national events that foster community, strengthen leadership skills, and encourage peer-to-peer connection all while celebrating and supporting the 1 in 5 who learn differently. **If you're interested in participating and haven't yet received messages from this club, please contact Mimi Katz (mkatz4@conncoll.edu). The French and Francophone Department of Connecticut College warmly invites you to its Film Festival, where you can see a strong selection of the latest and greatest films from France and the Francophone world. It's every day of the last week of October (October 27-31), at 7:00 pm each evening, with an additional matinee on Tuesday at 4:30. The theme this year is Resilience, which each film speaks to in its own way. All films are free, and SUBTITLED in English.

In this event, we will start by advising residents to keep their eyes closed (only if residents are comfortable) as they paint a portrait of yourself. Residents will be given 20 minutes to complete this task as soothing music plays in the background. After the first task is completed, RAs will then peer residents and instruct them to paint a portrait of the person they are peered with (with eyes open). After this task is completed in the 20 minutes period, we will take a moment to reflect. RAs will then lead an open conversation about how we see ourselves vs. how others may see us, and how our perspectives may shift in different circumstances.
